Bredonborough.
Rising from an eventful final dream. On a coach, driving towards a rendezvous where there is a gig. Not sure with which outfit, perhaps Crimson but, as with most gig dreams, there is frustration. I fell asleep on the coach and when waking my Happy Gigster’s Wonder Wheelie had gone from the baggage rack. What to do about this purloined wheelie? There was no answer available other than to enter the grey day,
Across the road to World HQ. Morning reading….

16.25 Home for lunch and returning to more e-flurrying. Even a call to a journalist who would like an interview. What subject, please? There are four main areas of activity across my career – King Crimson; the Alternative Career (Eno, Bowie, Gabriel, Hall, Roches, League Of Gentlemen, Frippertronics and Soundscapes, et al); Business (Decca, EG, Island, Atlantic, Polydor, Warners, Virgin, DGM, Classic Rock Productions, Sanctuary, BMG, UMG and more); Guitar Craft (The League Of Crafty Guitarists, The Guitar Circle, The Orchestra Of Crafty Guitarists).
Most interviews deal with one of these elements; and after two-four hours have got as far as King Crimson 1981 so want to come back again. I used to hold nearly all of the history with me so that if, as in 1999, an interviewer came for Holland and asked me about an answer I gave to a question in a 1971 interview, I remembered the question, the answer, and had a response to both available today. (The interview took place at DGM HQ while I was packing up Reddish House).
A call from the Sistery Person. Home for a gardener’s meeting…
